ICTFOOTPRINT.eu at World Sustainable Energy Days
World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) is one of the largest European annual conferences in the field of sustainable energy. It will take place between the 1st and the 3rd of March, in Wels (Austria), at Stadthalle Wels.
The event focuses on energy efficiency and renewable energy sources for buildings, industry and transport, as well as other topics related to sustainable energy. The event will gather together over 700 experts from 50 different countries, to discuss technology trends, establish new partnerships and raise awareness on green energy and energy efficiency.
ICTFOOTPRINT.eu was selected by WSED as one of the successful initiatives in the field of energy efficiency.
During the event, ICTFOOTPRINT.eu will have a poster presentation showcasing the Self-Assessment Tool for ICT Services (SAT-S), a useful, free, quick and easy-to-use tool to calculate the carbon footprint of ICT services. The WSED audience will learn how SAT-S can help them make informed decisions on how to make their ICT services sustainable and energy efficient.
The poster, as well as the Map of ICT Standards and Guidelines, will show several initiatives to assess ICT goods and services and organisations’ carbon & energy footprint and other environmental impacts.
