ICTFOOTPRINT.eu at "Data Centre World"
Data Centre World Paris is the biggest gathering of Data experts ever organised in France, after very successful events organised in London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Hong Kong. It will take place between 29th and 30th November, in Paris, at Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre.
The event will gather together the largest qualified audience ever seen in France, all professionals from the data management sector, searching for successful products and solutions that can respond to their needs, such as energy efficiency, power, cooling, Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and other relevant topics. Data Centre World Paris is co-organised with Cloud Expo Europe (Paris), the biggest French event on Cloud, taking place in the same days and venue. The Data Centre market in France is one of the biggest in the world, with 137 data centres, France is the 4th most equipped country in the world.
ICTFOOTPRINT.eu will organise a 30 minutes speaking session about “ICTFOOTPRINT.eu: a web platform to help organisations in measuring and reducing their ICT carbon footprint” on Wednesday 30th November at 12:10.
Frédéric Croison, manager from Deloitte Sustainability (partner from ICFOOTPRINT.eu consortium) will introduce ICTFOOTPRINT.eu to a highly qualified audience, all Small Medium Organisations to Large Enterprises from different disciplines (energy, health, public sector, finance, etc.) interested in Energy Efficiency and Data Centres of the Future.
The presentation will focus on how ICTFOOTPRINT.eu can help organisations in reducing their carbon footprint, with a special focus on standards which allow assessing carbon and environmental footprint of ICT goods, services and organisations. The presentation will mention as well the benefits that come from such assessments.
