Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) is the international summit of discussion about the link between urban reality and technological revolution. It took place in Barcelona (Spain) between  15-17 November, 2016. It is a referential global event to support the development of cities, being a leading platform of ideas, networking, experiences and international business deals that gathers together the highest level of stakeholders in the context of urban development. The event counted among its attendees the representatives of 600 cities from five continents, 576 exhibitors and 412 global influencers, innovators, and thought leaders, along with more than 14,000 other visitors.

ICTFOOTPRINT.eu was showcased at the “SCIS/Smarter Together” stand, to an audience highly interested in digital cities. The project hosted an Expert Session on the theme, “What does your smart city looks like”. Flyers were distributed, and a short presentation was made about the project, after which the audience had the opportunity to ask questions about the project.
