ICTFOOTPRINT.eu at EUROCITIES “Environment forum”
The EUROCITIES "Environment Forum" takes place on 18th October, in Tampere (Finland). The general goal of the event is to formulate practical and innovative ways to integrate environmental considerations into local decision making and urban planning processes.
The event will consist of gathering together a range of stakeholders, such as public authorities, environmental agencies, NGOs and civil society, as well as private companies and academia. Together, they will be discussing environmental legislation and programmes that can be implemented successfully at local level, in order to both improve the urban environment and protect the global environment.
ICTFOOTPRINT.eu will be presented at the event, describing the main Green IT services provided by the project, that will help either cities and companies to go for low carbon footprint in their ICT.
